Ocushield has been my go-to for EMF protection and blue light filters for my devices. I’ve placed multiple orders, including phone stickers, MacBook filters, screen protectors, and more EMF stickers. I’ve always been impressed with the quality and design of their products, and the shipping has been reliable. Recently, I bought a pair of blue light-filtering adult glasses and a set of child-sized glasses. The adult glasses provide some protection, but I wish the frame material was more adjustable. Our pupillary distance may not align with the optical centers of the lenses, and the current design might not fit as well as it could. Alternatively, offering a wider range of frame sizes and providing detailed dimensions would allow customers to choose the most suitable size for their heads. The idea of using a unqiue material all together for the frames would make the product way more outstanding, especially compared to others bluelight filtering glasses in the market. However, my latest order was hit with a significant customs fee, amounting to over 50% of the total cost. This fee was unexpected, especially since the order came from a different courier (US) rather than the usual UK courier. The excessive charges caught me off guard, and I’m not sure why the US courier to Canada resulted in such a high fee. None of my previous orders had incurred such unreasonable duties when using a UK courier. I appreciate Ocushield’s prompt response and adjustment for this purchase, as it would have been incredibly costly to pay 150% or more for the entire order. I value Ocushield’s understanding and hope they’ll consider exploring different shipping options to minimize excessive charges for their customers in various countries.
