On February 8th, along with a pre-order for myself, I ordered the set of 4 crazy birds (as shown) wanted as a birthday gift ( March 17th ) When it hadn’t arrived by 13th March, I contacted by email & messenger. I received an email stating it was being sent next day. It didn’t arrive. Via messenger was told it had definitely dispatched. Following day no arrival, given tracking no: I tracked, it stated waiting for parcel. I contacted & told them saying obviously they didn’t even have it yet. Was told it had dispatched & to give the status time to update, considering I should have already received it ?
Today parcel arrived, the photo is what I received. I messaged & asked if it was a joke. One bird out of 4. First of all I was told the order was cancelled but DPD found it, which made no sense. When asked what they meant. Story changed to packing error at warehouse. Incidentally the set is now out of stock.
At any point they could have told me I would not be receiving the gift and I could have arranged something else, I even said in our conversation’s I would do this, but now I have under 2 hours before being collected & no gift. I am disabled and I have no way of getting out anything.
I even made a point of ordering early, as I have had slight delivery problems before, not this long though & that wasn’t a gift.
Also on messenger, the only point I got a proper apology, was when I mentioned at the end that I was disabled, before that it felt like I was being unreasonable expecting what I had paid for.
Now I have to hope the other part of the delivery does in fact come when it’s in stock
