I purchased a tap and a 1 and 3/4 sink, the tap is fantastic, it looks great and is very nice to use.
The sink also looked great when it was first put in but as soon as it was used it started to scratch and has deteriorated with each use. If this was a cheap sink I could accept that but it was a cheap sink. I have since found that this is not an uncommon problem and was told that after about six months it will look better as the scratches will be more uniform and therefore not as noticeable.
