The blender motor base has performed very well. I just wish the sound cover matched the performance of the blender. I bought both the 1.5 litre and 2 litre jugs. The 2 litre jug fitted snugly onto the motor base, but the 1.5 litre jug seemed a bit loose in comparison. If the lid of the 1.5 litre jug is not cleaned properly prior to use, it can pop off during operation.
