I was very impressed that my sight was quite sharp even on the same evening after surgery, although the eye was a bit sore. The sight improved further in the next 2 to 3 days, and the soreness was mostly gone by the day following surgery. The improvement in quality of life, in terms of self confidence and freedom from dependence on contact lenses or glasses really has been life changing. I should have had the procedure years ago, and would definitely recommend it from my own experience.
