I was initially sceptical regarding laser eye surgery and the claims of success and the quality of vision. After my initial consultation and having given it some thought in addition to speaking with some friends who had also undergone the procedure i decided to proceed. The day after surgery my nerar vision was fantastic, but distance vision was blurry. The distance blur persisted beyond the one week appointment but i was reasured during the checkup that it was to be expected and would ijmprove with time. At the two week check-up the distance blur was still present and i was getting quite anxious thinking that my vision was permenantly damaged. Speaking with the consultant and airing my concerns made me feel much better, and i was once again reasured that i should not worry and my symptoms would slowly dissapear. I am typing this now following my one month checkup with fantastiv vision from near to far distance. I still get occasional dry feelings in my eyes following a full day infront of the computer, but this is also subsiding. Overall i am exceedingly satisified with my vision despite the anxiousness during the healing period, i now have better than 20/20 in both eyes, what more could you ask for.
