I decided to have laser eye surgery because my optician was struggling to balance distance and near vision with contact lenses, and even varifocal glasses weren't really satisfactory (I moved to contact lenses to avoid having to wear glasses!). This meant that most activities, from reading to golfk, proved challenging and less enjoyable than they should. The team at my initial consultation was extremely thorough and professional ... so much so that I signed on the dotted line immediately. The surgery team was, again, extremely thorough and professional, talking me through the procedure calmly and answering all my questions. Following treatment, I was disappointed by the level of discomfort I suffered (it seemed extreme compared to what I'd been advised to expect), but this did only last until the next morning, when I was delighted to wake up to find that I could see without the aid of glasses or contact lenses! Since then, my eyes have continued to heal according to plan, and I can only say that I would recommend this treatment to anyone considering it ... the results can truly be life-changing!
