My vision is now 20/20, which I'm more than happy with. It's even better than with my glasses. The procedure was not pleasant, but I've had worse, and only lasted a few minutes. Friends seem to be put off by the thought of the procedure, but it is over very quickly. Only thing I have to do now is wear glasses - ready readers - for close work. I wore varifocals before, so having to put reading glasses on and off is taking some getting used to, but at my age (60) that's pretty good. I think I look more intellectual taking my specs on and off to read! So very happy - and I got a half price offer, so even more delighted. The cost of varifocal glasses plus contact lenses was getting very expensive. This was my 60th birthday present to myself and it's been worth every penny.
