I was apprehensive at first as there is no going back once you have this operation, but I found the operation completely painless and only mildly uncomfortable for the 24 hours afterward. The aim was to relieve me of wearing glasses permanently during my waking hours and this was achieved. The surgeon and operating staff at Shepherd's bush were excellent, I would recommend this procedure to anyone who decided to rid themselves of having to wear glasses all the time.
