I was very apprehensive about having the surgery and my husband was the person who made the enquiries for both of us. To be honest I tried not to think about it before the operation and proably only went through because I didn't ant to be wearing glasses if my husband wasn't. The staff in the Belfast shop have been fantastic and the staff in the hospital couldn't have been nicer - very helpful and informative. If I had one criticism it would be that in the period coming up to the operation we were not contacted and my husband had to do a lot of ringing to find out if we were having the surgery on the day we had initially agreed. Saying that a massive thank you I still cannot believe that I can see better now that I did when I was 30!!
