Before my surgery I had very poor vision both for distance and reading. I wore hard contact lenses for 35 years and then went over to glasses when it became too difficult to read and see distance. I never liked wearing glasses and so I tried soft contact lenses that could cope with my astigmatism and prescription. These were OK but not perfect. I then read about refractive lens replacement and decided it was exactly what I wanted. I am over the moon with the results and would recommend it to anyone in similar circumstances.
