The first two or three days were ridiciulously uncomfortable, I didn't have any pain, just massive discomfort. I was warned against using the pain killers because they hindered the recovery, so I fought through it using paracetamol and lots of sleep.
The second day, I tried to do things that I normally did on a Saturday (watch/play football), but this was a terrible experience, the room was bright, I couldn't focus on the television and I couldn't stop blinking because of the discomfort.
After the fourth day, when I had my protective lens taken out, my vision and comfort improve dramatically and from then on I didn't have any issues.
I'm really happy with the care, help and advice that has been given to me by the members of staff that I dealt with, if I needed to do it again, I'd do it in a heart beat and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone that asks me.
