Surgery was not painful but I did experience discomfort afterwards worse than anticipated, however this went away after about a week and my vision is great apart from some dryness and needing to wear sun glasses in the sunshine (not a bad thing). I use the dry eye drops and they really help the dry eyes so it is not a real problem for me. The staff at the surgery centre in nottingham and in derby have been really nice and helpful and I am very pleased with the service i have received.
