Staff were very helpful and friendly. The surgery was quite weird but over quickly - I had servere discomfort in my eyes for the first hours. I then went to sleep for an hour and sat in the dark for the rest of the day. After that was almost back to normal, with dry eyes for a couple of weeks. My eyes still feel slightly sensitive and dry, but not as much as when I was wearing contacts. My vision now feels like it's too good to be true.
