Had the start of cataracts so driving at night was really difficult. Was also wearing 2 or 3 different kinds of specs for reading, distance, tv, computer etc, although I did have varifocals for general use. The best thing about the operation is the fact I no longer need glasses - and can now see to apply my make up!.. Everything is much sharper and more colourful
