I chose to have Laser corrective surgery as it was becoming uncomfortable to wear contacts for more than 10 hours per day. Working 12 hour shifts wearing PPE where glasses are a nuisance, the surgery has enabled me to undertake a full days shift, without sore eyes! The fact that I can swim, cycle and climb, get out of bed etc is an added bonus!
