After my initial consultation I was recommended to have lens replacement, I had a consultation at Manchester where everything seemed okay. However I wasn't informed that the surgeon had recommended laser treatment to be a more suitable treatment for me until I had travelled to Manchester and was about to have surgery. I felt this could have been done earlier which would have saved me going to Manchester and booking into a hotel and my daughter taking a day off work to be there. After that experience I have been very pleased with the staff at Sheffield who have been friendly, professional and put me at my ease before I had the treatment and I am more than happy with the final result.
