The pre-surgery consultation process was thorough. Everyone was very polite and helpful. The surgery went very well, I went home as instructed, slept although by then the anaesthetic had worn off and I was in PAIN and didn't think I would ever be able to fall asleep but my body kicked in and when I woke up three hours later it was great! Since surgery, my far vision has continued to be fantastic but I am really struggling with the need for reading glasses for all close vision needs. Once my eyes have completely healed after three months though I'm hoping that prescription reading glasses will be better than the cheap 1s that I am currently using. I find it easy to read when it's bright daylight, but when it's slightly dim it's a lot more difficult. Overall though I'm pleased I had the surgery (with the proviso that it's super annoying having to rely entirely on reading glasses).
