I had been ordering from Oslo Sweater Shop for a number of years, often purchasing a sweater for my wife at Christmas. I had always been happy with the products and service.
This past Christmas was different. I ordered a sweater and paid for gift wrapping. The sweater arrived before Christmas and was of good quality. Unfortunately, the sweater was not gift wrapped. While the lack of gift wrapping was not a big deal, I had paid extra for it, so I requested a refund of the gift wrapping fee on 21 December. I was informed the company would respond within 24 hours. Ten days later, there was no response, so I sent the request again on 31 December. Ten days later, the company sent the shipping tracking number. I was not questioning the shipping; the goods had been received. For the third time over more than three weeks, I requested a refund of the gift wrapping fee. While the fee was finally refunded, I received no response from the company at all.
The true measure of a company is how they respond when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, Oslo Sweater Shop has no commitment to customer service.
