To be honest I was a little leery of purchasing a casket online. It seemed a little odd but to purchase something like this off the internet, but the funeral home was asking insane prices for a decent casket for my wife's mother. When we asked them to see a cheaper option, it was a boxed wrapped in what looked like felt. I called overnight caskets and placed my order in minutes. I did have to pay an extra $300 for guaranteed overnight delivery, but even with that extra cost, we save almost $2000 for a nicer casket then the funeral home was offering initially. I will say the funeral home was not happy about us getting a casket from somewhere other then them. When we told them what we were doing they gave all kinds of excuses. That they come in damaged and that they won't fit in the concrete box. All this was BS. The Casket was just as pictured online, perfect condition. Save yourself some money. don't let the funeral home rip you off.
