I was duped by not reading carefully enough, these sheets are microfiber, when I Egiptian comfort, my brain translated to egiptian cotton. That being said, the quality of the sheets seemed really nice for the money so I kept them and put them on the bed. They are soft and beautiful and I have no regrets about keeping them
