This is the 1st time I have used Paramount Plants. Whilst I was surprised/disappointed that the 1.5M high skeeters broom acer was delivered without any form of protection (hence just 3 stars) it did appear to have survived its journey unscathed, probably more by good luck than good management. The plant was not cheap and I would have expected some form of protection against all of the dangers faced during its transit would have been a fundamental requirement. Notwithstanding my concerns regarding its transport the plant appears to be healthy and generally complies with the description on the web site in terms of its form and size. I have many years experience of growing acers and only time will tell if the plant is free from any inherent problems and genuinely healthy.
