I paid for a 5 day holiday at Romney Sands Parkdean. The Gardener cutting the grass hit a stone which broke the French Window Glass Door. They assured my husband who was having a nap at the time they would fix it within 2 hours after measuring the door. Did not happen. Was not even reported by them to reception. We were not able to use that door the whole week. No explanation until the day we left, that they had to get it fixed by outside sourses. Also the grill could not be used as it was missing a shelf, as we do not fry food we ate out a lot more than we might have done. The beds are like planks. Caravan not well designed. Parkdean said they would give me 5 per cent off a future booked holiday but I have already booked a week's holiday for my daughter and her family in August at Highfields Park. I asked for a £50 voucher as we had spent so much on eating out because of the grill not being in use and they have refused, not even offering us something towards the meals eating out and I shall not be using Parkdean again. I have booked so many holidays with them and spent so much money on site. But I will not be treated this way. If they want to come up with some sort of goodwill gesture then I may reconsider, if not then I will look elsewhere in the future. Patricia Longhurst.
