I ordered the Microsoft Office Home for Download and never received an email confirmation let alone the software to download.
After waiting a few hours and it still not arriving, I phoned the help desk. I have never had such poor service before. I have phoned previously for assistance and it has been good but this was shocking. I was on the phone for over an hour, passed around to about 6 different people and even 'lost' when put on hold by their wonderful technical support. When I spoke to technical support for the short 3 minutes before getting lost, he agreed I should have received it by then and that there was an issue (he managed to find my order and account). He then lost me when I was put on hold, I got a lady who didn't know what was going on, I asked her to put me through to the cancellations and refund department as I was running out of time by this point. After being on hold for another 5-7 minutes, I was not put through to that department but another lady who now couldn't even find me on the system when the initial technical guy could (said my email address didn't exist). I then got cut off and NO ONE, despite me giving them my mobile number, called me back. That was over an hour of my morning absolutely wasted and I am no where nearer to resolving the issue! Have now emailed.
I am extremely disappointed in the customer service and will not ever be returning to PC World ever. There are enough other shops out there that offer a much better service!
