I had the opportunity to speak with Ali, the owner of Ansari Mathematics as he is also a student at UC Berkeley. Through my interactions with him, I can tell that he is extremely serious about helping his students improve at math. An one hour session for the student will usually take, in reality, almost three hours total including the one hour tutoring as the tutors often spend plenty of time to prepare specific lesson plans to fit their student. Tutoring is something that Ali personally enjoys, and he is determined to offer the best to his clients, which is the reason why I believe Ansari Mathematics have a culture of teaching the student and not simply teaching a lesson on mathematics. The tutors are all personally interviewed by Ali, and he only works with tutors that would take into consideration what is best for the student and would take the extra time to design a lesson around the specific needs of the student to help them improve in whatever they would like improvements on, whether it be for the SAT or AP exams, their math classes in school, or even math competitions. Ali and his tutoring team at Ansari Mathematics are guaranteed to put in their best effort to teach, as this is something that they pride themselves in.
