My case is a bit tricky as I had lived and worked in Ireland for over 17 years and had a private pension taken out through my employer. When I moved to another EU country for good, progressing with my pension and transferring the funds was a major problem as my employer is the pension trustee, but is not allowed to advise or support. After doing some research and shopping around (and getting false information from a very big international pension provider), I found Pension Advice. 4 months later: All is done and dusted, I have a great new pension scheme and a personal advisor to look after my financial interests: Pension Advice!!! I can not stress enough how important this is.
