AVOID.
Well, where do I start?!
I purchased a 2018 Mercedes GLA with just 17,000 miles on the clock, through the Pershore store.
When I collected my new car it had not been valeted.
A few days after purchase the keyless entry was playing up. I went back and the salesman told me it could be the batteries so he changed them. That didn’t help.
There was a problem with the electrics as the car wasn’t locking or unlocking, I also had to use the key the old way ..in the ignition. I went back again but I was told because it was intermittent they couldn’t fix it. So I was left with my new car that wouldn’t lock or unlock or recognise the key.
About 2 weeks after purchasing my new car and then taking my old one off me, I got letters as it still hadn’t been paid off/changed ownership, the salesman told me it should have been paid already. But it hadn’t.
Another week later it was still showing as they hadn’t paid my other finance off. Apparently it had been paid 3 weeks AFTER i handing it to them. I was also getting demanding letters from the DVLA about road tax also!
30 days in and I was still getting the same problems with the key- I went in again and the salesman said again because it is intermittent they can’t do anything about it. They let me drive away ..again.
A few days later the Engine light came on they Plugged in to diagnostics - it came up the diesel injector was faulty.
About 5 days after that the car went into the Pershore service garage it had the part changed *Under my warranty* !
When I collected the car I Got told they couldn’t code the part in but they took it for a drive and it ‘seemed fine’ and to let them know if the engine light came on or ‘it might code itself back in’. Obviously I’m not a mechanic so I didn’t know what they were going on about.
I Got back in the car later that day & the engine light was STILL on and the car was driving really bad.
I Contacted them back and they sent someone to my house a few days later to code the part. After a few hours the mechanic said it was fixed, when I got in my car later that day the engine light was STILL on, the car was still driving bad.
The car wasn’t drivable so I contacted the finance company as I felt I had purchased a faulty vehicle.
They sent A third party company out and inspected the car and came to the conclusion that it had been faulty when I purchased it.
As soon as Pershore motor group knew I went to the finance company they went very sour. They didn’t want to help.
They advised I get it booked in to be fixed under the warranty… AGAIN (not at their cost) and ‘when they can fit me in’ as they are very busy.. (fixing everyone else’s faulty cars) !
They said they wouldn’t pay for the diagnostics and it would have to be done under my warranty I purchased, And I would have to pay for the diagnostics out of my own pocket!
The whole time I went through this , I had a terrible & unprofessional customer service , I have countless WhatsApp messages off one of the ‘directors’ ASH, he couldn’t even be bothered to call me or invite me in to resolve the issue.
I also had the other director TAY come to my place of work , telling me the reason I got treated so bad was because of personal reasons on their behalf .. so they new they had treated me badly as a customer.
But I’ve now been left with No car, and ash bribing me to buy another car through them, and most of all NO APOLOGY. I will not be going back. And I advise anyone against purchasing through them. Faulty cars , lots of auction cars also & Lots of bad reviews!
