The mat doesn’t stay in place at all. It slides away when my dogs run over it (I have seen this happen on my pet cam - it’s not being pulled in their mouths as your less-than-helpful Facebook comment suggested) and then I get dirty footprints everywhere. It is only marginally better than the old towel I had on the floor previously.
