I purchased the odour eliminator and the laundry liquid in a bundle a few weeks ago. Being a cat breeder, we often have to clean up cat mess whether it’s on the floor or fabric. I found the laundry liquid extremely effective as it’s the only product so far that has achieved total smell elimination. What I do with very soiled items is to soak these in a laundry sink with a bit of petlab laundry liquid for 24 hours and then wash it in a normal cycle again with a small cup of the petlab laundry liquid as an additive. With areas on the carpet that serial offenders often revisit, I had to go hard. I had to clean with petlab odour eliminator 3 to 4 times and let me tell you, the first few times while the product was drying/reacting, it really smelt awful. However, I’ve realised that I needed to remove the reacted product together with old pee completely each time before I retreat. So I actually just use water to clean off all the reacted product first before I use more petlab. And by the 4th go I did achieve almost total elimination. I realised this might take lots of goes with old soiled areas but I’m pretty happy with the result. Another thing I would highly recommend for carpet is to get yourself a carpet spot cleaner as that just made my life so much easier when trying remove the dirty water as I can suck all this up swiftly with the machine. Finally I really like the mild vanilla smell, it’s very pleasant unlike other odour eliminator on the market.
