I had seen the car I wanted elsewhere. Would have bought it there and then if Manager had come down slightly on price marked in showroom. I smiled lots but he wasn't budging. Decided to sleep on it. Went to Peter Vardy next morning and was warmly welcomed. Sales executive was very patient when I said "I've got 10 spare minutes, know the car I want, how much do you want for it?" No smiles! Gave him no more details on where I'd seen the car or how much I had been quoted. He took a few minutes leave and came back to me with a better price! Added accessory and little extras that matched competitor but I felt I was getting a good deal just by him bringing price down enough to really make me feel like I had a good deal. Thank you Peter Vardy! Gentleman that sold car to me was vigilant in the after sale pick up etc. and took time to clearly and patiently explain functions, dashboard etc of car before I drove off in my fabulous new car!
