Excellent service when choosing to lease a new car with more than one person offering advice. Unfortunately when going to pick up the vehicle at 5pm as arranged we were met on entry and offered a seat with the choice of tea or coffee while our salesman was preparing, or so we thought, our car. We were still sitting 30 minutes later wondering why he had passed by us a couple of times and not explained the reason for the delay. We watched him remove the stickers from our new vehicle in the forecourt then drive off. The original colleague asked if we had been attended to and then came back to tell us the car was away getting petrol added!!!! Our salesman returned and apologised profusely admitting he had not realised who we were even though we had an appointment for 5pm. He did give a very comprehensive guide on the car's workings but it went on too long and we felt he seemed distracted and struggled in setting up the "Onstar" system. We also felt he was in a hurry... so were we after such a long delay. He was a very nice chap and no doubt knows his job but let us down on delivery. Also I have been unable to claim my VX Protect voucher car care kit and although receiving a phone call as a result of my e-mail over a week ago, I have heard nothing since. Perhaps a few tweaks are needed here and there regarding after sales service? This is the second car we have bought from Peter Vardy and would hope you will take heed from this review because we still think you're trying to improve.
