Overall good, however I felt uncomfortable at the suggestion that I could just hand back my old car to the finance company as I had made over 50% of the payments and was still in negative equity with the car. I was assured that this would not affect my credit rating. I decided that I would go ahead and purchase the new car but paid off the outstanding finance on my old car.
It felt like a dodgy way of dealing, one that would come back and bite me in the future.
