Very impressed when I went to take to delivery of my new Vauxhall Insignia. I was greeted at the showroom door by the Sales Person with whom I had placed my order. Then I was introduced to the executive who would handle the transfer paperwork for my new car and trade-in. As we approached a desk near the centre of the showroom, we came upto a vehicle shrouded with a black cloth cover. The executive rolls back the cloth and reveals with a flourish... my new pride and joy. Under the showroom lights, it looked glorious. We then sat down to complete the paperwork, with the car gleaming in the background. Paperwork done, I was given a comprehensive tour of all of the features of my new car. Finally, just before the car was moved out of the showroom, and I get to drive it for the first time, the Finance/Accounts manageress approaches and presents me with a bottle of Martini Proseco, and a box of luxury chocolates. An uplifting experience. The only downside was the snow falling on the drive home!
