I totally agree with all the negative comments about Pet Plan. We have had 2 dogs insured with them for eleven years, current monthly cost £55.65 for one and £88.50 for the other. We recently made a claim for the elder dog who had injured their leg, for £390 and which we had paid the vet. PP refused it because the dog had hurt their leg in 2019 but we had not claimed for it. Per the person I spoke to at PP, under their rules if you don’t claim for an injury within 1 year you cannot claim later. So in 2019 we footed the vet bill and didn’t Claim from PP thereby saving them money. They will not pay for treatment for the same injury in 2024. Unbelievable,it doesn’t make sense. So I cancelled the policy there and then. But to add insult to being robbed, the person I spoke to phoned back and asked, if I would like to make the last payment in full before leaving. Unreal and totally outrageous. Of course they got a firm no and we are cancelling the other dogs policy too. Avoid these fraudsters and go elsewhere. Shame on Noel Fitzpatrick for encouraging people to use these shysters. I hope he is being paid well.
