We tried all sorts of ointments but nothing helped to get her stop licking her paw after she was on antibiotics. After doing some research online I noticed that many dog owners and some vets say that an overgrowth of yeast can follow antibiotics resulting in paw licking to ease insane itching. Her paws were all pink and raw. Within a few days of using the probiotic for dogs she stopped licking. I continued to use it daily, but about a month later, I stopped for a week. Sure enough, the licking kicked back up again. Back on the probiotic for 3-4 days and she's stopped again.
