BEWARE FRAUDSTERS - reported to Action Fraud December 30th 2019: At the end of October, I found the company, (Phone Convert) via a google search when I wanted to dispose of my old mobile phone after purchasing a new one. I filled in the form to get the device valued and accepted their offer of £90 for my iPhone 6s. I was then away for about 10 days and when I returned I had received a bag to send the phone off to them in. I also received an email from someone called Damon on 4th November asking if I had received the bag as they had not received my phone. I explained I had been away and then packed up the phone the same day to send to them. I heard nothing back so chased payment on the 15th November via email and got the response "Sorry for any delay we have been having server issues." I chased again on the 25th November and received a set of automated emails asking me to accept a lower price for my phone (£71) as there was an issue with it - I accepted this and received confirmation but no money was forthcoming. I chased on 25th November and received an email payment confirmation but no money. I emailed again on 9th December but heard nothing and no money has been forthcoming
