I am only leaving a one star review because no stars is not an option. 5 years ago a former colleague signed up for a compactor that we didn't really need. We tried to contact PHS last year to cancel the contract before the renewal date. Firstly, getting a response by phone or email wasn't easy. We were told various tales regarding the contract, we were told that our request had been recognised but the appropriate person hadn't dealt with the matter correctly, but it would be sorted out ASAP. It wasn't. Various calls and emails were ignored before a very nice chap in their sales team gave me the direct number for our local sales manager. A meeting with him didn't resolve anything, then today I was told that our contract renewed automatically after 5 years without any contact from PHS, also note that you must give 90 days notice to cancel the contract before the end of the 5 year period. I am taking advice regarding the legality of this. I have never seen a contract that can end and then be renewed without consultation of the signing of any documents. The PHS customer service is a joke, if we ran our business like this we would be out of business very quickly. I urge you not to deal with is company.
