I was hoping to frame a painting for my granddaughter's birthday. The order took 18 days to arrive: it arrived the day before her birthday and as I opened it, I was initially pleased by the appearance of the frame and colour of the mount. It was then that I noticed three linear scratches on the perspex. It was too late to do anything and the perspex is a poor substitute for glass anyway. I had to drive to the nearest town and buy a piece of glass. I emailed Picframes, who assured me that they would reply in 24 hours. That was three days ago and i have heard nothing. Perhaps they blame Covid, or if they are from the south of England , it will be Brexit. I think it is old fashioned incompetence - not checking the order before sending. This was clearly an unsatisfactory service and I will not use them again.
