I placed an order on 17/2/2021. The order was for shelves all with a pewter finish on the joints. I laughingly paid extra for this. After arranging the order with Stewart, and paying the communications stopped. No receipt or confirmation email was sent. 24/2/2021 I finally got an email saying the items were being powder coated. I waited another week and the called to ask where my order was. I was then told FedEx had lost my parcel, a familiar theme, on the one star reviews. However they would send out replacements immediately. So, I’ve waited for weeks for items, which were lost in transit but can be replaced immediately. Strange! On the 10/3/2021 the items arrive. They are put to one side to be put up later. However, when we come to put them up there are two issues. One of the items is completely wrong and all the joints and fixings are not pewter. They are light grey. Not metallic in any way. The metal fittings actually look plastic. I’ve sent two emails. I’ve had no reply. - No communication after payment -Order took 3 weeks to arrive -FedEx blamed for delays - Wrong item sent - Items are the wrong colour and do not match website images - No quality control - No reply to complaints I will be attempting obtaining a refund through my credit card. If that fails Small Claims Court. I will also be informing Trading Standards.
