We have enjoyed receiving our new spices each month. We do use the alternate recipes frequently as we don't eat red meat. I think each month includes one vegetarian meal as standard, which we appreciate. I don't think we've had a 'loser' recipe yet. The recipes are for four servings, so we have to decide whether we're going to halve a recipe or have leftovers. Twice we have frozen the leftovers when the recipe gave us the equivalent of 6 servings. That worked well for us, too.
