Five stars because the light is phenomenal and I don’t know why these are among the world’s best kept secrets. Should be as essential to a home as the kitchen sink. I wish I’d bought mine the first day I gave it a thought. I will say that I don’t think the app or even the website are in the same league as the product itself—we should talk about that. And I believe the manufacturing should be pulled out of China — for the sake of everyone who will eventually get what looks just like your product but won’t be anywhere near as good. But now my story . . . I had heard a little about red light therapy and as an aging woman I was thinking about getting one for the possible benefit to my skin and hair. However, I ultimately made the purchase because my mother came to live with my husband and me and at 102 her only troublesome health problem is macular degeneration. I read a study showing immediate and lasting vision improvement following a 2 minute treatment. She had use of only her right eye, her left remaining 90% closed since a failed shunt procedure (she also has glaucoma). If there was a way to just protect mom’s remaining vision it would be well worth the money spent. My niece, an optometrist specializing in geriatrics, said “Granma’s got nothing to lose and from what I’ve read it’s safe” so we did it. I could not have imagined that the morning after her first treatment her left eye would be open—she said it felt stronger, like she didn’t have to work at opening it. She could read better. She walloped me at a card game. We’ve used the red light for just two minutes a morning, three mornings a week for the past week and a half. The entire family is amazed at the improvement in the appearance of her left eye which seems like a bonus to the vision improvement. Mom asks when her next treatment is. It will be several months before I can let you know if her eye doctor sees measurably improvement. But I don’t need that confirmation myself because it’s obvious. My daughter, who has auto immune disease, has a recurring side pain that seems to be related to inflammation. She deals with it for about a week every month. I’m sure this all sounds a little unbelievable — I mean I just got this Biomax 600! Really, it IS UNBELIEVABLE. I regret not buying sooner.
