The actual device is fantastic, but my lack of 5 stars is due to customer service. I purchased the device less than a week after they announced the subscription service being a yearly cost but that wasn't anywhere on their homepage or the purchase page. I only noticed it when reading tech specs AFTER purchasing. I wrote to customer service requesting to be grandfathered in to the free for life deal or for them to cancel my order. I wrote multiple emails and all I got back was a free year which is what all new customers were given. I asked again to cancel the order and never heard back. I ended up keeping the device because it's great but the customer service was lacking to say the least.
