I'm one month in and so far all I can say is this is an excellent controller. I previously got the PhoneJoy (now dead) and then the ROG Kunai 2, both were just non-functional for me. Pros: The Backbone feels great in the hands, is very responsive and has both a USB-C passthrough and a headphone jack, Kishi V1+2 is missing the latter. Cons: The price is steep (£100 at the time of writing) but it's difficult to complain when for soo long companies have failed to nail this kind of product. It's not fully collapsable so I'm cautious to throw it in a bag. The launcher app is very "streaming" focused and doesn't let you customize much so I just uninstalled it in the end. Suggestions: More collapsable or studier construction. Support for fast-charge. Larger analog sticks. It's not perfect but I would say it's currently the best in class. Also really happy with the delivery times, arrived in 5-6 days despite saying it'd take a month, that's just my experience of course. tl;dr - I forgot I was using the Backbone and got sucked into the game I was playing, which is a lot more than I can say for other android controllers! Well done Backbone!
