My husband and I bought our son a PS5 a few years ago when they first came out. My husband unexpectedly passed away with no prior health issues a few months ago. Our son changed his name on the game and afterwards can no longer access his account because it was in my late husband work email which has since been deactivated since his passing. I called Play Station and gave them all the information that they were asking and they still did not allow my son access to his account!! He has lost all the games, skins etc. that we have bought him over the years! You would think that they would have some type of empathy, and compassion for what we just went through and allow my son access to his account and allow me to change the email to my account but they kept saying that they can't help me!! I understand that you have a security system but there should be some exemptions to the rules! I will NEVER buy a play station again and I will tell my friends NOT to bother with your systems! Signed a recent widow!
