**** WARNING BEWARE **** My son wanted to cancel the playstation now annual subscription. He went online as instructed by playstation and cancelled the membership. He made the mistake of disputing the charge with the bank before contacting playstation regarding his refund. Now playstation has suspended his account and he has no access to any of the games he has already purchased through it. I called to figure out how we can get the account reinstated and was told that I have to purchase a Playstation gift card of $100, then pay for the annual fee, then the account would be reinstated back after 3 days of making the payment and then we can request the cancellation and refund again… WHAT??? Why can’t you take my payment from another bank account that I have? Is it because you will cancel the service and then keep the funds as well?? Where will you apply the credit?? I don’t need $100 in playstation credits. So it looks like either way, you get your annual fee and then some. Talk about shady business practices.
