Changes made to June's Journey since Playtika bought it are spoiling the game for many. They are motivated by greed and wanting loyal players to spend more and more money. Sure it's a "free" game but there are plenty of ads to watch so you can proceed which bring in millions in ad revenue of course so players are already cntirbuting to Playtika's profits. Bad strategy as players are boycotting or leaving the game altogether!
