He was very honest with me and told me that considering the age and where the leak was it was more than likely going to need to be replaced. When the plumbers arrived right on time. I neglected to mention I needed a drip pan due to the basement being finished after the current water heater was found. They went to the nearest store and bought one, so they could still complete the job without complaint. The initial cold water shut off valve was a PVC ball valve that was frozen. Without me even asking they installed a metal lever shut off valve, so I could turn off the cold water input when needed. I would highly recommend this company.
