I can only write a review about the purchase experience and the fitting as it only arrived today. The purchasing was straight forward, and the paperwork for the Government subsidy was fairly simple. Be advised you NEED to have either bought or ordered an electric/hybrid car for this financial help. Pod point contacted me about a week after I submitted the paperwork and gave me an installation date around 10 days further on. Installation day arrived. At the beginning of the time slot I had been given I was immediately contacted by the fitter, in this case Ben, telling me his eta. He was prompt and arrived as he said. Fitting took around an hour and a half which seemed again straightforward. Ben fitted the point where I had stated and hid the cables in the cavity as I asked. He was exceptionally helpful and got on with his job. Upon completing the instal, Ben ran through the operation of the point with me, helped me set up the app and we tested the charger on my car. All worked as it should. I charged the car today without issue, the app worked as it should, telling me the cost of the charge too. I’m very happy. As to reliability, I cannot say. There is a circuit board in the point so I guess there is potential for a breakdown sometime however there is a 3 year warranty so I won’t worry about that for some time. Thank you Pod Point and Ben.
