We were having issues with our garage door operator reliably closing the door. I called Prestige Door to have a technician resolve this problem. I was told that someone would be available between noon and 1:00 this afternoon. About 10:30 AM Alex called and asked if it would be OK if he came early since he had finished a job sooner than expected. Alex arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem as the safety sensors malfunctioning. He ran a few checks and found a broken wire at the motor unit. Once the repairs were completed, the door worked perfectly. He than checked the rest of the door over for better performance. After re-tensioning the springs and lubricating them, everything passed his inspection. Alex was very polite, thorough and highly skilled. He earned my top marks today, which is not easily done for a mechanical engineer customer. The next time I have garage door issues, I will again be calling Prestige Door. Very well done, Alex!
