I paid extra for Saturday delivery, moreso to ensure it arrived as quickly as possible than that specific day. This was displayed as a UK wide option, however I received a voicemail stating it was not an option for Northern Ireland (considered part of the UK) but they could still send it, only without guarantee of the Saturday delivery, which I accepted. However, I then received an email informing me that the item I had assumed had already been posted by that point, was no longer in stock (despite being in stock when I ordered it) & I could cancel the by now already late Christmas gift, or wait for it to be in stock again, with no time scale given. I was understanding about my order not reaching her by the Saturday, however I still expected it to be sent, arriving a couple of days later and I was accepting of that. My friend was already expecting the gift, as I had to inform her just so she knew I hadn't forgotten about her, so it was too late to cancel. I was informed it has finally been dispatched. Overall I am disappointed, if a delivery option does not included Northern Ireland, then it should be clearly stated, NI is part of the UK, as it stands I paid extra for a quicker delivery when standard delivery would have been sufficient as she now won't receive the gift until after the New Year, almost two weeks after my initial order.
